Sports & Clubs

Rock Solid Youth Group for ages 10+ meets in the "Stable" on the second and fourth Sundays in the month.  New members will be most welcome.  Contact Sandra or Mark on 254179 for a programme of events.

Holsworthy Hamlets Flower Club (Affiliated to NAFAS) meets on the second Tuesday of each month at the Bodmin St Methodist Church in Holsworthy at 7.30pm.  For information call the Area Representative Mrs Jacky Allen on 01409 254298.

North Tamar Fencing Club holds classes in Chilsworthy Village Hall on Thursdays 4 - 5.30pm / 5.45 - 7.15pm and Mondays 5 - 6.30pm (13+ only).  Why not come along to get fit and have some fun.  No experience required and all equipment provided.  New members over 8 years old welcome.  Contact Philip and Sue on 01409 253196 or Philip's mobile on 07947321995.

Line Dancing has now finished for the Summer.

Badminton Club is held every Monday evening from 7.30pm in Chilsworthy Village Hall.  Unfortunately this very popular club is now full, however there is a waiting list and if you'd like to be added to the list please contact Pam on 253063.

Yoga Classes are held every Tuesday between 2pm - 3:30pm in Chilsworthy Village Hall.  New members welcome - any ability!  £27.60 per half term (6 weeks),  £55.20 for 12 week course.  Payment weekly £5.00 per class.  Telephone Di Sluggett on 01409 281637 or 07790988420.  Autumn Term starts Tuesday 14th September - 7th December 2010.

Aerobics and Circuits Classes are held on Tuesday evenings in Chilsworthy Village Hall with Ian Hobbs.  £40 for 10 sessions.  Aerobics at 7pm and Circuit Class at 8pm.  Just turn up or call Ian on 01237 421080.  Please bring a bottle of water and a mat with you.

Table Tennis is starting on Friday evenings in Chilsworthy Village Hall on 3rd September 2010 at 7.30pm.  Come along and enjoy a game - all welcome.

Chilsworthy Ladies Group next meeting on Thursday 12th August 2010 at 7:30pm in the Cornish Room at the Village Hall.  If you'd like to join please ring Pam on 01409 253063.

Chilsworthy Short Mat Bowling Club - On Thursday 16th September 2010 at 7.30pm there will be an Open Evening for ANYONE interested in trying their hand at indoor bowling.  We do encourage you to come along and have a go - completely free and with no obligation.  We are a friendly club of all abilities and you are assured help, advice and some demonstration bowling.  The evening will finish with tea, coffee and biscuits - see you on the 16th!
